From my bed to yours by Jamila Prowse | Crip Resistance II

£10.00

From my bed to yours is a pop-up postal project by disabled artist Jamila Prowse. When cut off from the outside world, the thing Jamila misses most is the sun on her face and wind in her hair. Here, she attempts to bring small parts of nature – the sun, the clouds, the sea – directly into the bedroom. Featuring pop-up cutouts of a mini bedroom landscape, a step-by-step how-to instruction guide and a letter from the artist, delivered to your home via post. Intended as a move towards analogue remote programming, in the accompanying text Jamila writes about how she wants remote programming she can hold in her hands. Pre-cut-out versions are available for anyone who doesn’t have access to scissors, and there is also a downloadable print-at-home option available too.
