    The Hayati Residency Programme is designed to support Muslim poets in expanding their work beyond their usual output by providing funding and professional guidance throughout the programme, whilst also enabling poets to create new work and refine their craft.

    The role of the Admin and Support is a new post that is designed to support someone into work who has not worked for a long time, never worked, is changing industry or is trying to find their feet. We will support you to feel comfortable and in control of your work.

    This is a new post that is designed to support our existing team in their day to day work. As we are growing as an organisation, more work is expected of the same size team and we sometimes struggle with capacity.

  • Deadline Passed: Artist Membership Lead

    The artist membership lead is responsible for the members programme of regular events and a yearly members show. They will co-design and plan these with the existing member artists of Ort Gallery. They will ensure exhibitions and events run smoothly and reach their potential. The team will support you in creating a community-led programme.

    This role is intended to be for existing members of Ort Gallery. However, if you aren’t a member you can still apply if you feel the role speaks to you and/or you bring valuable experience or skills to the organisation. Please speak to us ahead of applying if you have never been an Ort Gallery member so we can support you ahead of the application stage.

    Do you have a few spare hours here and there to help out? We are looking for helping hands particularly during our children's workshops and live events. 

    We appreciate you lending your precious time. We ensure all our placements are beneficial for you and us making sure we offer you travel expenses, buy you a drink and meal and provide you with other in-kind support such as references for future work applications or support with finding opportunities!
